Who needs a pep talk?

Monday Madness

Who needs a pep talk?

Everybody does at some point.

From our early January confidence about how 2020 was going to be a great year, to the abrupt shutdown in March and then all the chaos until now, this has been one wild ride. There have been some great times in the midst of this, like wonderful reconnections with family. Stock markets have mostly recovered, but not without a March nosedive. There are waves after wave of pandemic “hotspots”; there were the conspiracy theories and now political nonsense clouding sensible behavior. There has been great open discussion about race, diversity and inclusion. Change is occurring at a rapid pace while millions are still unemployed across North America. It seems strange that the staggering speed of change can happen while economies are limping along – maybe people have more time to think.

I shared that I have had my share of struggles and successes the past few months. The smiles, laughs and happiness have occasionally given away to some pretty dark moments, too. Even the coach needs a pep talk sometimes.

So here’s what I have decided to do. Every Wednesday at 7:30am Pacific time / 10:30am Eastern, I want to have breakfast with you. For my friend in the Eastern time zone, it will be more like a coffee break. We’ll do a live group Zoom call and talk about how the week is going. Maybe there are world events to discuss, maybe business challenges or opportunities. You never know who you will meet but I’ll be there to share.

No agenda, no obligations, just an open, weekly, discussion for entrepreneurs navigating these times. If you are a business owner and would enjoy the company of other owners, please join me for breakfast.

You’ll need to sign up to get the Zoom call details in advance, but I will also post them the morning of the call. Please go to my contact form and enter “Breakfast with Mike” in the message box. https://www.mikeskrypnek.com/contact-mike-skrypnek
